Due to the ongoing impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we’ve made a number of updates to our safety guidelines and we’ll offer even more flexibility with our booking conditions.
The safety and wellbeing of our friends and customers, local partners, suppliers and team remains our priority and as the world begins to open up again, we look forward to having you travel with us soon.
In preparation for the return of travel, Jaunt Mexico is committed to going the extra mile to ensure a Safe Jaunt for both, guests and team. Our primary mission is to dedicate all ongoing efforts to ensure a stress-free, safe holiday.
We’d always understood that travel plans change. Today, more than ever, we are subject not only to our own plans, but to a global, constant changing situation. We are working hand by hand with hotels and local partners to give you even more flexibility.
For any pre-existing bookings you may have with us, they may be postponed to a later date without having to select a future day immediately or cancelled altogether. There are no cancellation or amendment fees.
If you would like to change a destination that is better suited to your revised travel arrangements, we will gladly work on it accordingly.
For future bookings in activities, experiences, transfers and tours we’ll give a 14-day notice to change plans or cancel without paying any fee. For accommodations, we’ll give you the best available option that the hotel is currently offering.
For groups and meeting bookings, we will treat each on a case-by-case basis for maximum flexibility.
Our local partners, suppliers and Jaunt Hosts undergo daily temperature checks, and receive ongoing training by medical practitioners on COVID-19 awareness and overall health, safety and knowledge.
We work hand to hand with hotels to make sure they follow strict sanitary conditions and we’ll only suggest stays in hotels that we have personally inspected.
In our inspections, we focus on all public areas, which should be sanitized on an hourly basis, paying attention to high-flow and high-contact points. Also, all rooms should be deep cleaned and disinfected with virus-specific protocols and there should have hand sanitizer points and mandatory temperature checks as a welcome protocol.
TRANSPORTATION & TOURS
We’ll receive all our guests with a sanitizer kit that will include: face-masks, antibacterial gel and sanitizer wipes.
All of our vehicles will be sanitized with a very strict control following the rules of WHO. Our drivers and guides will always receive you with gloves and face-masks.
As the touristic places as museums and archeological sites start to re-open, we are going to focus our itineraries on wellness, adventure and gastronomy, since these activities can be easily arranged privately and considering social distancing.
Please note that each individual hotel or destination in Mexico may make necessary adjustments as advised by local authorities from time to time. We’ll keep you informed.
